The “Fire Escaping Simulation System”, leading by one of the frontier companies on serious game developments - Intellect Valley Communications co.ltd, is the first teaching aid in China to utilize interaction and new media technology into college safety education.
Nowadays increasing importance has been attached to game interaction in college education. This multimedia and interactive approach can increase students' initiative, encourage them to study without impulsive guidance of teachers.
“Fire Escaping Simulation System” aims at embedding the key points on fire escaping into various game scenarios, thus by playing the game, students can obtain those critical techniques in a much more interesting and more memorable way.The system is now widely used in colleges in northeast China, especially in Liaoning province.
My Role
Utilized interactive games for youth safety education. Designed and implemented a simplified bonus system in C# (Unity) to enhance the sense of engagement. Contributed to technical modifications on the released version.
